On Sunday, April 3, the Memorial Garden Committee presented plans for the renovation of the Christ Church Memorial Garden. After hearing presentations from our architect, Robert Linn, as well as Bill Conner (finances), Hank Griffith (arrangements), and Harry Hoyt (legal) a vote was taken. The parish unanimously endorsed the project (with one abstention).

As soon as the project is finally voted by the vestry on April 14 we will engage our architect to render final drawings and begin bidding out the project. A July start date is anticipated.
Final pricing for space in the new memorial garden will be announced sometime in May when reservations and sales will begin. Please see the following documents below to see more drawings as well as a Q & A about arrangements and policies about relocation of existing vaults. This Q & A was was handed out at the meeting on April 3. (Note that policies outlined in this document are subject to final approval of the Vestry.)
Thanks to all members of the Committee who have shaped and guided this project over the past three years. Special thanks to Ed Papp, our original chairman (who had to resign from the committee after moving from Ridley Park). Present committee members are Ollie Rhine, Betsy Kirkpatrick, Janice Kordowski, Fran Johnson, Walt Myers, Ron Okarski, Barbara Torrens, Joy Phillips, Hank Griffith, Bill Conner and Fr. Tompkins.
