The delay of our Epiphany Dinner in early January due to snow proved serendipitous. It was rescheduled to take place immediately following the Annual Meeting on January 30th. Though came on the heels of yet another winter storm, we had great attendance both at the Annual Meeting and the Epiphany Luncheon/Auction. The 2011 budget was approved; new vestry members elected (Amy Lovenguth, Ed Dougherty, Janice Kordowski, Nancy Mobley); Carol King was elected the new Accountant Warden; Ollie Rhine, Jim Cooper and Ken Mobley elected diocesan reps to convention; and outgoing committee chairs were thanked (Bill Nickerson of Property, Judy Yorke of Personnel, and Glenn Eckard of Finance).
There was an excellent crowd for the luncheon with plenty of food for a most convivial group. The auction netted more than $2,200 with proceeds going toward the youth pilgrimage this summer. Special thanks to auctioneer Alex Melso and to all who contributed articles and services to the auction.
