The Outreach Committee is seeking your support of the Seaman’s Institute Ditty Bag initiative. For the months of June, July and August, the following donations are being requested and will be appreciated: razors, shaving cream (7-11 oz cans), toothpaste, tooth brushes, combs, and nail clippers. The bin for the Seaman’s Institute Collections is under the shelf , in the vestibule by the green doors. Thank you for your support and for making the lives of these wayfarer’s a bit more bearable.

Baby Manna Collection
We will collet for Baby Manna, on Sunday, May 13th. Baby Manna helps feed infants and toddlers in the five-county region. The Outreach committee will match all contributions.

We’re coming down to the wire… Christ Church Outreach Committee would like to thank parishioners for their generosity in making the Hope for Haiti Brick by Brick campaign a success! The Spring Fling is your final opportunity to participate in this initiative. Be sure to visit the “Taste of Haiti” booth and …Buy a Brick to rebuild the Episcopal Cathedral. Bricks are $10, but donations in any amount are accepted. Our model will be on display so you can see the progress we’ve made. Sample delicious Haitian cuisine. Back by popular demand is the Boeuf a I’Haitienne (Haitian beef with tomatoes and peppers)! If you missed the opportunity to taste this simple, flavorful dish that is characteristic of the Haitian love of tasty meat and vegetables dishes, the Spring Fling will be your LAST OPPORTUNITY!!! Outreach will also be selling a number of Haitian breads, including – coconut, banana nut, and maple walnut, as well as carrot cake and mango coffee cake! Don’t forget to stop by the Outreach Taste of Haiti booth on May 12th, beginning at 9 AM!!
Pathways Hanging Baskets
Pathways Annual flower sale continues this weekend. The baskets would make a wonderful Mother’s Day Gift for Mom’s, Grandmoms or Aunts. There are several varieties to choose from. “Thank you” for your continued support of our Afterschool Homework Club.
Spring Fling
Please plan on joining us on Saturday May 12th, as we hold our Spring Fling from 9 AM to 2 PM. We will only have the White Elephant items this year. Deppich Scholarship Applications
Deppich Scholarship applications are in a folder on the secretary’s door. Please pick one up, complete the information requested and return to the office no later than noon time on May 7th.
The Deppich Scholarship Committee will meet on Wednesday, May 9th at 7 PM in the Deppich Room.
