Are you Crafty? The Pumpkin Festival is coming on Saturday, October 13th! If you enjoy knitting, crocheting, art, crafts, sewing, or any other kind of handwork, your donation to the Christ Church Craft table would be very welcome! We also love to get nicely packaged baked goods!
If you have items to donate to this table, please contact Donna Grieff at 610-532-7816 or Marlene and Bill Nickerson at 610-659-3031, if you need to arrange a drop-off or pick-up. You may also bring items to church, to the attention of Rev. Judy.

American Flag request – If you have an American Flag from a loved one who served in the Military and would like to honor their memory by flying it on Church property – either in the Memorial Garden or out front – please contact Bill Nickerson at 610-633-6368. We will remember your loved one and their Service on the Sunday we hoist the Flag.
Nelson’s BBQ will be at Christ Church on Wednesday, September 5th, from 3 to 7 PM – or until sold out! You may order a 1/2 Chicken dinner for $7.00 or a 1/2 Rib dinner for $12.00. To pre-order, you may sign the sheet in the back of church. You may also pre-order by contacting the office either by phone (610-521-1626) or email (email@example.com) by 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 5th.
There will be a Pumpkin Patch meeting on Monday, August 20th, at 7 PM in the Deppich Room. All are invited to attend!
The Outreach Committee is collecting tabs for Ronald McDonald House. If you get pull-up tabs from beverage, soup or pet food (including colored tabs), there is a marked clear plastic jar on the counter near the green doors where you can drop the tabs. As always, “Thank You” for your support!
All money collected from children during Sunday School and Children’s Chapel, and from Lenten Mite Boxes goes to support our two children, Serena and Jay-R. All proceeds from the Shrove Tuesday pancake Supper also go to these children.
In addition, there are now special offering envelopes for children in the pews and also a box of children’s envelopes on the table at the back of the church. If your child is going to put money in the plate, please give them a children’s pew envelope. If possible, please use one envelope per family. Please note that ANY donation made in these special envelopes will be credited to our ChildFund children – you don’t have to be a child!
A reminder from the Outreach Committee that they are seeking your continued support of the Seaman’s Institute Ditty Bag initiative. During the summer months, the following donations are being requested: razors, shaving cream (7-11 oz. cans), toothpaste, tooth brushes, combs, and nail clippers. The bin for the Seaman’s Institute Collections is under the shelf in the vestibule with the green doors. Thank You for your support and for making the lives of these wayfarer’s a bit more bearable.
So much of our correspondence now is through email. If you have not been receiving weekly email news bulletins and other important notifications, please be sure to let the office know your email address, and update us on any changes. You can also put your email address on a white pew card and put it in the offering plate.
